Last night was very blustery, and I’m surprised the weather radio didn’t go off with an alert.
• I finished Series 2 of the new Doctor Who. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit I was crying like a little kid by the last episode. After watching the first series, I told my brother I was going to have a hard time accepting anyone besides Eccleston as The Doctor. But by the end of S2, I was hooked, and I liked Tennant’s take on the role. Now I need MORE! (And I need to keep myself away from Amazon, which has all the seasons on special at the moment. 😄)
• After a winter coat-related exercise in futility, I hit Gap, which has more cute stuff than I expect it to have these days. Good, reasonably priced classic pieces with enough of a spin that they aren’t boring.
There I hit the jackpot: the Gator orange, cable-knit sweater and coordinating socks pictured above. Aren’t they lovely? And don’t they look like something I would buy? 🧡
