So, the final convention-related post. (At least for a little while.)
The dealers’ room was a little hit-and-miss for me this year. You see, I usually try to only buy things at conventions that I can’t find super-easily online. In that respect, there wasn’t too much that screamed “BUY ME NOW!” but I still managed to spend a fair amount. ;-)
- The little critter Kitty-mon is torturing is a character created by a very talented friend of mine, Jen Kokay (Love From Senpai).
- I purchased the DVDs of SAMURAI 7 that I didn’t already have, officially catching me up to the most recent release.
- Earlier this year, I totally forgot to pick up about three months of NEWTYPE USA, and one enterprising vendor had the back-issues. (With the DVDs and at a discount, no less!)
- And finally, I picked up my first Pinky:st doll/figure!
Photos of the Pinky and my Pullip, “Nana R.,” will be posted in the near future but not tonight. It’s getting late, and the wind is really starting to kick up, which freaks Josie out!
