A week ago this past Friday, I treated myself to some tulips. Look at the colors! Even though I knew they’d only last a handful of days, I couldn’t resist.

I have a love-frustration relationship with the daylily outside my front door. On one hand, the flowers are pretty. On the other, they… well… only last a few hours. And often, I miss them blooming entirely because I’m working!
