"At an Arm's Length" is a Final Fantasy VIII "not-so-short" story focusing on the surly anti-hero and the surly bookworm. More than anything else, it was an experiment that allowed me to shake some cobwebs out and experiment writing longer-form fiction. It's currently (probably) permanently on hiatus. (My own characters' voices ring louder in my head these days.) That said, the chapters are written in serial form, so they can be read either together or independently. [Rated R - Language, Violence, Kids will find it boring]
