Heero Yuy and the Gundam Wing

Heero Yuy

Self-possessed and darn-near-indestructable, Heero pilots Gundam 01, the Gundam Wing. He does not have a true name — only the code name given to him by the L1 colony scientists who raised him. Although he is brilliant and ruthless on the battlefield, the "perfect soldier" finds himself unable to dispose of the first person who could blow his cover, Relena Darlian.

Duo Maxwell and the Gundam Deathscythe

Duo is originally from the L2 colony cluster and a member of the Sweeper Group, an organization that salvages and resells scrap metal and parts. He is the atypical Gundam Pilot: although "braid boy" has suffered great hardships, he is determined to — rather loudly — maintain a positive outlook on life and have a sense of humor. However, when he sits in the cockpit of his Gundam Deathscythe (Gundam 02), he is a relentless and formidable opponent who truly lives up to the nickname "God of Death."

Trowa Barton and the Gundam Heavyarms

Trowa Barton

Perhaps the most mysterious of the five youths, Trowa is the designated pilot of the Gundam Heavyarms (Gundam 03) and the representative for the L3 colony cluster. He is reticent, never talking about his past, and has a proven talent for undercover work and firearms/explosives. When not on missions, he maintains his cover by working as a clown and acrobat with a traveling circus.

Quatre Raberba Winner and the Gundam Sandrock

Quatre Raberba Winner

The sole male heir of the L4 colony cluster's most prominent and wealthy family, Quatre defied his father to become the pilot of Gundam 04, the Gundam Sandrock. He makes friends easily, and those he has befriended, in return, are his loyal allies. Quatre is the most sensitive and empathetic of the pilots, but he turns what could be a weakness into a strength by serving as a consensus builder and a preternaturally effective strategist.

Chang Wufei and the Gundam Shenlong

Chang Wufei

Wufei, a member of an ancient Chinese clan exiled to the L5 colony, is the pilot of the Shenlong Gundam (Gundam 05). Angry and filled with an immense amount of pride, he prefers to work alone and looks upon almost everyone with extreme disdain.

Relena

Relena Darlian

The pampered daughter of the Alliance's Vice Foreign Minister, Relena has a strangely mature outlook for a 15-year-old. A chance encounter with the pilot of Gundam 01 will start her along a path to a destiny she didn't know existed.
