Musical duties for Escaflowne are handled with aplomb by the duo responsible for the television series' score: pianist-composer Yoko Kanno (Macross Plus, Cowboy Bebop and Turn-A Gundam) and cellist-composer Hajime Mizoguchi (Japanese television's Beautiful Life, Hoshi no Kinka).
