Spike's expertise with firearms and in Jeet Kune Do (the martial art practiced by Bruce Lee) is only matched by his laconic, perverse sense of humor and his cool confidence when faced with even the most difficult of situations. These skills, along with a highly developed, personal code of honor, are the badges he wears from a past he'd rather forget.

 

 

 

 

Age: 36 Home: Unknown Ship(s): Bebop, Hammerhead

As a former ISSP officer (a kind of intergalactic police), Jet was known as the "Black Dog" due to his relentless persistence while in the pursuit of criminals. He is an equally dogged idealist who believes in doing the right thing despite the personal inconvenience. Arguably the most-consistently sane adult on the Bebop, Jet and Spike first teamed up three years prior to the series' start.

Age: 23 Home: Unknown Ship: Redtail

Faye, bounty hunter and mystery woman, believes in the feminine prerogatives: to change her mind and to get what she wants when she wants it. An expert-shot and pilot with which to be reckoned, she is always on the search for quick money — whether it is a byproduct of bounty rewards or a well-executed con. Basically, Faye invites herself onto the Bebop and decides to stay a while.

Age: 13 Home: Earth

A computer prodigy with an unconventional style and mentality all her own, Ed is a free spirit in every sense of the definition. Her antics are a source of comic relief throughout the series.

Species: Welsh Corgi Home: Unknown

Ein, who first appears in Session #2: "Stray Dog Strut," is a data dog who makes his home on the Bebop. What is a data dog? It's top secret: if we told you, we'd have to kill you!
