AnimEigo: The American licensee responsible for the translation, subtitling and dubbing of Bubblegum Crisis and Bubblegum Crash, plus Hurricane Live, a music video compilation of the series' popular songs. To date, AnimEigo has released BGC on laserdisc and VHS video formats. Additionally, AnimEigo licensed their translation to the software/ DVD company M2K for the production of two, different Bubblegum Crisis DVD box sets. (The DVDs were also released singly.)

AnimEigo has built a strong fan base for itself by releasing classic anime titles and including the extras that makes animaniacs very happy: well-done translations and extensive liner notes. They are also one of the more fan-friendly companies, sponsoring their own mailing lists through which they maintain regular contact with their audience. Check out their web site for extensive information about Bubblegum Crisis and Crash products, full liner notes featuring story synopses and production notes, song translations and the images you have seen throughout this article. Don't swipe the images from my page, visit AnimEigo and get them directly from the source!

M2K, Multimedia 2000, Inc.: This Seattle-based software/DVD company licensed AnimEigo's translation of Bubblegum Crisis for the DVD release. In 2000, they announced the release of Hurricane Live on DVD, a re-released/ repackaged BGC box set (adding the fourth DVD), and a trade-in program for those who already have the three-DVD box set. See their site for details. (Note: the Collectors Edition is three disks; the new, MegaSeries Edition is four disks.)

Software Sculptors: This anime and software company released a Bubblegum Crisis Screensaver in 1994, and it is still available via their web site. The CD-
ROM features animation from the eight-episode OAV and a video jukebox.

R. Talsorian Games, Inc.: The makers of Bubblegum Crisis: Megatokyo — the Role-playing Game. Descriptions of their RPG books are at this site.

Darkhorse Comics: The publisher of the Bubblegum Crisis: Grand Mal comic series, written and drawn by Adam Warren. I haven't read it myself, but people either seem love or hate it.

AIC: Anime International Company, the animation house behind Bubblegum Crisis and the newest addition to the franchise, Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040. (Site in Japanese.)

Youmex: One of the original parties behind the series, their site focuses on soundtracks for BGC and other series (Site in Japanese.)

A.D. Vision/ ADV Films: Houston-based ADV helped to finance the Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 TV series and is currently releasing it on both VHS and DVD formats.
