I’m frequently asked what I do for a living, and this section of my site is dedicated to answering that question in detail.
Currently, I serve as the Marketing & Communications Director for Right Stuf, Inc., a privately owned corporation that includes both RightStuf.com (North America’s largest online retailer dedicated to anime, manga, and Asian entertainment) and its Nozomi Entertainment anime licensing division.
The position is a bit different from those of my counterparts because my work is split between store-related activities and publisher activities, while most marketing personnel strictly deal with one or the other. This experience has given me more of a holistic view of the business of licensing, repackaging, and marketing foreign entertainment for consumption by English-speaking audiences.
