My Sassy Girl | How's this for diversity? A Korean, life-action flick with subtitles. It is the first movie in a long time that actually made me laugh so hard I was crying. Someone better release it on DVD here. (Oh, and it's a true story by Ho-Sik Kim and the basis for the new manga series by ComicsOne.)
Gilgamesh, Ep. 1 | Saw the first episode this last weekend. Interesting premise and really pretty, Goth character designs that are kind of reminiscent of Blood: The Last Vampire.
X-Day, Vol. 2 by Setona Mizushiro | A great conclusion to an interesting, if frightening realistic, slice of life drama. (And the short story that closes it is sad, sad, SAD.)
Happy Mania, Vol. 4 by Moyoco Anno | I shouldn't enjoy this series as much as I do. It's trashy, trashy, trashy, but also entertaining since it's not happening in real life.
